I SEE YOU …
What attracted me to Laura Hollick? It was the feathers! Yes, I love feathers and I love this picture of her wearing them. There began the adventure around her website her YouTube videos. I found them incredibly inspiring! Here was a woman who definitely knew who she was, who was extremely comfortable in her own skin and most definitely was not afraid to show herself to the world. I think most of us women can relate to wanting to be this, if we are not already and I most certainly knew there were areas in my life where I wasn’t quite comfortable with myself so I had much to learn. In stepped Laura.
Canadian born, Laura has been blessed to have been brought into this world with a naturally creative spirit. She spent her childhood in an imaginative world of her own so it is little wonder that she has created her surroundings just the way she has always pictured it in her mind. I enjoyed hearing her story of growing up in various parts of Canada and starting to draw at a young age, spending many hours in nature and creating her world, studying dance and travelling the world before returning to the canvass.
Along Laura’s life journey she has experienced what she describes as ‘three profound initiations’ which have helped her create her dream life. They gave her that spark, the fire and courage to take risks, to let go of the old self and become the person she was destined to be. I could relate and I wanted to know more.
Laura is a leader, but not in the traditional sense. She is a living, breathing example of a creative spiritual being helping others to transform themselves. She is a savvy business woman, clear, focussed, disciplined and she has clearly defined boundaries. She knows she was put on this earth to help reconnect people to their own home through their creative vision.
And so it is with great pleasure that I allow you to discover Laura Hollick in your own way. It was a joy connecting with her. She has made an impact on my life in ways I never imagined, she has challenged me greatly. It was most definitely my next step.
