‘Zorica’ (Zoe Jovanovic) – Face and Body Reader, Somatic Bodywork/Massage, Dancer – Sydney
I SEE YOU …
Zorica, Zoe wow, where do I start? An amazing person who is here to bring laughter and joy to the souls of all she meets. I met Zoe through a mutual friend after a string of coincidences. We got chatting and found that we had a lot of common interests. We have spent many late nights laughing and giggling on Skype or Facebook and connecting with our inner children. This truly beautiful lady oozes a passion for life that I have not seen in many people.
I had the pleasure of receiving one of Zoe’s face reading’s a while back and she told me many things that have helped move and guide me to a more positive place in my life. I am yet to experience one of her amazing massages and can’t wait to be blessed with actually meeting the beautiful Zoe in person so she can teach me how to dance “Zouk”.
Zoe is an honest, caring and fun person who can brighten up the dullest of days. I wish her a life of happiness and success and am certain that she will reach every dream she ever has for her love of life shines through.
Love you Zoe

ZORICA’S GIFT TO YOU …
I have found that my natural gifts/abilities are in:
~ Expressing and connecting through touch. When I discovered some 8-9 years ago how touch and tactile therapies can take me on journeys to places and depths, I fell in love with it and went to study it. From Remedial, Lymphatic & Swedish, to Hawaiian Kahuna body work, my favourite! I am still exploring and refining these modalities.
A few days ago I read this quote which in some way explains my intention when with clients and what often happens on my massage table: “There is nothing that is more delicious, than to have someone holding you as their object of attention, while they are connected to Source energy. That is truly what the feeling of being ‘in-love’ is.” ~ Abraham-Hicks. I love the magic and mystery that happens during body work and I love seeing people rejuvenated at the end of the session. (ISSUES ARE IN THE TISSUES!)
~ Expressing through dance, through body movement. I discovered this early in my life and learnt that my body is very sensitive in its nature. I recently realize that dance & movement enables me to heal and revitalize myself and would love to teach and support others in this area. The Idea is born and is in its incubation stage. Watch this space J ~
~ Caring for, connecting with and loving children. I have a natural love for children. Just looking at a baby or 2-3 year old can make my day and fill me instantly with joy and delight! In 1999 when I arrived in Sydney I studied Childcare. Since then I have been working with children part time. I can’t think of anything more beautiful than caring for small children. We love to be in each other’s company and play together. I love to see them feel secure, supported, encouraged, respected and adored when in my care. When I look at humanity through small children I feel excitement about our future.
At present, my work is with children part time and with adults’ part time. With children there is lots of joy, excitement, realness, lightness. With adults there is not so much, but when it happens it is precious, touching and fulfilling.
LIFTING THE VEIL …
What are you about and what makes you light up and come alive?
I am about connecting, merging, bringing authentic self to the surface and to life. Exploring firstly my own depths, mastering my own mind and having enough confidence and courage to live my life according to those parameters. Connecting firstly to my authentic self, to my core/heart and then from there connecting with others. Showing my true self so that they may feel free and safe to open themselves also. When that connection happens (inner and outer), I feel fully alive.
Children also make me light up as I love them and easily connect with them and that connection gives me immense joy and delight.
When I dance, every fibre of my being is fully alive. Dancing is my favourite way of expressing myself.
What are you here to contribute?
I am here to contribute Exuberance, Laughter, Sensitivity, Joy, Lightness and Light, through whatever work I happen to do at time and to whomever I work or interact with.
What have you always known the most about and been interested in forever?
I have always enjoyed body movement and loved dancing from a young age. I also loved sport and was captain of my native city’s handball team. After I broke my forearm at one of the games I opted more towards dancing which soon after took me out of the country and got me travelling.
In Italy, where I worked as a dancer and lived for 9 and a half years, I was certified as an aerobic, step and fitness instructor. I had a huge interest in the human body, the way it functions and how we can enhance and keep it healthy. That interest also led me to taking up studies in Psychosomatic Therapy here in Australia, which I find incredibly interesting and rewarding: discovering how our body-mind is actually one inseparable unit and how our thoughts and emotions play the most important role in the shape and health of our bodies.
Recently while on the phone with my father, I was reminded that as a young girl my desire was to be a presenter or MC and I had that role while in primary school. This year I was asked to teach a workshop in the Art of Reading Faces at Northern Beaches Community College, Sydney and also at Nature Care College at St. Leonards, Sydney, which in a way is bringing my early childhood dream to life. Teaching….Presenting… I feel that that path is gently opening.
What would you bring to community if it was your sole job to perform and no one could perform it but you?
I would bring a few things! I would bring Balance. Balance between body and mind, between work and fun, between work and sleep. I would bring more awareness of self love, self respect, realness and honesty in our interactions. And a big dose of self mastery and being grounded and present.
What are you continually asked to do?
To be present, to be grounded. To live in the body, in the now. And to look within.
What do people see in you, when indeed they see you?
I asked my friend Angelina, she said she loves my honesty and that I say what I think, Lindy said I am funny and a new friend, Mary wrote to me: ‘Zorica, you are gorgeous, graceful, light, fluid and still powerful in every motion. You inspire.’ (well…. if I have asked my mother she would tell me I need more patience and I don’t call enough..) So I prefer to listen to what my friends have to say about me… ;)) It sounds much better….LOL!

I recently won from Inner Adventures the opportunity to be given a face reading by Zorica. I had never before had a face reading and so i wasn’t sure exactly what there was to it.
I was really blown away by what Zorica could see from my face. She could see that I was tired and not running at full capacity.. (i have 4 children and two of them are under 3) She saw that I am an emotional person who is happiest when I am being creative.( i have fought hard to be able to do this) she saw I have strong beliefs but I need to learn how to stand with strength behind those beliefs. She touched on the fact that I try to please everyone and that I need to find a way to depend on myself. There was so much insight into myself that as I listened to her reading I found myself giggling when she saw parts I try to hide, I cried when she saw the beauty and depth that many miss and Iaughed at her straight forward interpretations of me. To have someone see the negative and the positive and explain those to you makes the challenge of balancing those traits so much easier. I believe the gift she has given me by this insight , is the strength and validation I needed to take the next step on my inner adventure.
