I SEE YOU …

Well where do I start with this woman?  Let’s begin by saying that if it wasn’t for her I would not be where I am today!  Sounds cliché but it’s the truth.  She has indeed been my saviour in my darkest hour, my rock of Gibraltar and my biggest fan!

We met in 2008 when we joined the same business.  I believe we connected immediately through our shared sense of humor.  Since then we have been inseparable, well via the airwaves that is.  Michelle lives on the West Coast of Australia, and I live on the East coast.  It’s only a 5 hour plane trip!  We’ve met 3 times; one of those times was in the Caribbean for one of the best times in our lives.  We have been planning a re-run of this at some point, although we both know it will never be the same.  Some things are just that special they will never be repeated.  A wonderful memory nonetheless.

Michelle is extremely loyal, supportive, caring and yes, she’s one of those friends who is ALWAYS there in a crisis.  We have both had an incredibly difficult year of growth and I know that we were sent to assist one another through this pretty rough time.  I am so happy to now say that we support each other in a very different way, through our shared vision of helping others, through our creative purpose and we laugh more these days than we talk about the serious stuff.  In actual fact I can’t remember when we last had a ‘serious’ conversation.   That to me is BLISS!

Yes we are that pair who knows what the other is thinking.  The synergy is fantastic.  I have to say that Inner Adventures would not be what it is without this woman.  Her creative genius, her “can do” approach and her knowledge about all things detail minded and technical (not my forte) astounds me.  She has taught herself everything she knows – blows me away!

There are simply not enough superlatives to describe Michelle.  I just love her to bits.  She’s taught me to toughen up and to not suffer fools, to believe in myself, to laugh often and to love who I am.  She makes me laugh every day.  She is my anam cara, my earth angel and my best friend.  I love you sister x

I support passion based small business owners in building their online presence by taking their website/blog concept and making it a reality. I began by building niche websites for myself using WordPress as the platform and soon I was hooked on the power of WordPress. Before long I was building websites for my friends as well. Finally, I decided it was time to turn it into a business and the rest, as they say, is history.

A small business entrepreneur, with a strong marketing background, I have owned and operated a number of online businesses and I am well acquainted with the ups and downs of owning a business as well as how to make it become successful. I enjoy putting my knowledge and expertise to work for other business owners and help them achieve clarity in their goals and objectives for their online presence.

SHIMA CRYSTALS

Shima Crystals was created to connect people to the ancient wisdom and healing energy of crystals that have been gifted to us from Mother Earth.  I have a love and fascination in this area and understand the power they possess to bring about deep personal growth and healing change. I create Shima Crystal pieces from my home studio in Western Australia.  Each piece is created with love, integrity and intent for the highest good for all concerned.

I began my creative journey with crystals when I designed a set of Palm Beads for my mum, who suffers osteoarthritis to help distract her from the pain she was experiencing. From there Palm Beads became a gift of love in times of celebration, need or to simply share the magic for family and friends. This was the inspiration for and conception behind Shima Crystals.

What are you here to contribute?

As a creative soul communicating through converstation, creating crystal mediation beads to help one relax and getting to know their inner self, or building a website to help the passion based business owner get the word out about what they do – my greatest desire is to support people building to live a life they love.

What are you about and what makes you light up and come alive?

My children, friends, pets and being in the creative flow.

What have you always known the most about and been interested in forever?  Is there just one thing, or are there several?

Animals – I have a deep connection and respect for the animal kingdom and have often been told that I should have worked in this field.

Creativity – If I can make it for a loved one I will!  Those dearest to me are my greatest inspiration and all that I create, from the birthday cakes to crystal creations and websites, comes from a place of love.

Stuff  – yes I like to know the ins and out of a ducks bum so to speak!  I have a constant thirst for learning new things and I amazed how much useless information I retain!!

Spirits/Guides – I have been aware of spirits and guides from my mid teens.  Having been raised by a clairvoyant Nana I suppose it would be better to say I have always known about spirits and guides, maybe just not been aware!

What would you bring to a community if it was your sole job to perform and no one could perform it but you?

Organisation and getting things done with all the “i’s” dotted and “t’s” crossed, along with the creation of a beautiful physical place and injections of total silliness – it has to be FUN!

What are we continually asked to do?

Show understanding. To be able to walk in the shoes of another without judgment is an integral part of helping others to see their true self.

What do people see in you, when indeed they see you?

Loyalty, Resilience, Compassion and Empathy.
